Reiki Level 1 is all about self-healing. Reiki Level 1 is the foundation of Reiki. During Reiki Level 1 you’ll learn about Reiki, the history of Reiki, and how Reiki healing works. The course will include printouts of the course material. Some students like to have the Essential Reiki book by Diane Stein after the training as a reference. At the end of the course, you will receive your Reiki 1 attunement and certificate. When you register, please register with the name you'd like on your certificate.

The class will take place from 12 pm to 5 pm on Sunday at MAYA YOGA KC. *Please note that Christy will send more details in a follow up email, a week before the class.

How to Prepare for receiving Reiki Level 1:

There aren’t too many things to prepare before receiving Reiki level 1, but here are some recommendations to help balance your mind and body: 

• No alcohol

• Drink lots of water and bring a water bottle

• Avoid caffeinated drinks

• Bring warm socks and a sweater as the room can sometimes get chilly

• Please bring a snack to share during breaks
